🌧️ Mother Nature brought lots of rain today on Wingate's Field Day but we pivoted to an afternoon of indoor team-building. We are so proud of our students for their flexibility and sportsmanship. WES 5th graders took a field trip to Busch Stadium! Students learned about the science behind hitting a baseball, the legendary St. Louis Cardinals logo, and baseball around the world. They also enjoyed a tour of the stadium! #19WESPride #19EveryStudent

Wingate's Week of the Military Child started with a special breakfast for our military families and wrapped up today with a concert by the US Air Force Band of Mid-America-they were amazing! To our three secretaries-Katy, Yesenia and Renee-Whether it is a forgotten lunch, a bus change, a warm welcome for a new family, a report to be run or spreadsheet created, the three of you are the glue that hold us together. Thank you for your patience, your smiles and your organization.
