7th Grade Football played Saturday and fell to a tough Triad team.
The 8th Grade Baseball Team captured the 3A State Baseball Championship!!!! The defeated Hickory Creek in the Championship 5-0. The Braves wrap up an incredible season with a record of 16-4. Congratulations players and coaches!!!!

Mascoutah Police Department & the City of Mascoutah: are sponsoring National Night Out in Scheve Park on Tuesday, October 6th from 5:00-8:00pm. The celebration will feature live music, bounce houses, food/drink, K9 demonstration, first responder meet/greet, and an arch helicopter landing. Youth Giveaways will begin at 7:00pm, so be sure to bring your registration form for giveaways to the event (that you will receive from your homeroom teacher on Monday the 5th.)

Two Sentence Horror Story Library Contest. Do you dare to scare?
The library is hosting its annual Two Sentence Horror Story Contest. The challenge: you must tell a complete, scary story using only two sentences. Rules: No run on sentences can be used to cram more into the story. You may not steal someone else’s work from online or use any AI generators. (Mrs. Crothers knows how to check). Spelling will be looked at - so please do your best and double check your spelling before submitting. Submit your stories in the Google Form located on the MMS Library website. All stories are due by Wednesday, October 28th.
