Student Announcements:
MHS Dance will have tryout clinics (that 8th graders can participate in) Monday May 5th and Tuesday May 6th 3:15-4:30pm at MHS and Tryouts Wednesday May 7th 3-5pm at MHS. If you are unable to attend because of MMS Athletic Events, please contact greene@msd19.org to set up a tryout.
6th and 7th grade Beta Club members - If you are willing and able to give New Student Tours this summer and next school year please sign up in the Beta Club Google Classroom. There will be a brief training with Ms. Jeannette May 28 during your Flex. You can also sign up to give summer tours too.
In order to accommodate upcoming field trips, the next Braves Bungalow for April/May SOMs and Cool Characters has been rescheduled from Tuesday, May13th to Friday, May 9th.
Congratulations to the April Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Johnston. Students report that Mrs. Johnston is a great teacher who is compassionate, funny and kind and who knows how to teach in a way that makes learning understandable and fun.
The MMS Drama Club would like to invite you to our production of "All Shook Up."
Dates are Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17th. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show starts at 7 PM.
You can purchase tickets at the door for $7 or you can scan one of the QR codes on the posters around the school to purchase tickets for $5.
There will be concessions available both nights.

Girls Basketball Open Gyms 6th & 7th grades: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00-8:30pm at MMS May 20th-June 26th. Please pick up a packet in the office if you are interested in attending.
MSD19 “Beauty and the Beast” Summer Musical Camp is FREE! Held at Mascoutah High School. Weekdays: Monday June 2nd - Friday June 20th from 8:00am to 1:00pm Lunch is not provided, but students will be given a break and are allowed to bring food. Performance will be June 20th at 6:00pm in Mascoutah High School Auditorium. For students entering 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade who attend Mascoutah School District. Please see Mrs. DeBusk if you are interested and pick up a flyer from Room #520.

Golf Clinics will be offered at The Orchards Golf Course beginning in April thru October. Please pick up a flyer outside the office, if interested. Regular Camps run for four weeks and cost $115.

Students with perfect attendance each month will get a coupon from their teacher for a free soda or snack in the cafeteria during their lunch hour.
The 4th quarter reward party, ice cream in the park, will take place at the end of May. The criteria to earn the 4th quarter reward party is 3 or fewer discipline incidents and no ISS or OSS.
