Mascoutah Schools Guard Clinic learn easy dance and flag skills.  Dates and Times:  April 21 4-5:30, April 22 4-5:30, April 23 3-4:30, April 24 4-5:30, April 25 4-5:30.  Come have fun and learn something new!  The high school team will show off some amazing skills!  Parents are free to come and watch everyday!  On Friday at 5 we will do a showcasing for family and friends!  Contact Information is gsguardproject@gmail.com  Breann Labbee, a Junior at the high school is sponsoring this event as her gold award project.


MMS Cheer Tryouts for 5th-7th grades: Clinics will be April 30th 3:30-7:30, May 1st 4:00-7:30, & May 2nd 4:00-7:30 with Tryouts on May 3rd @9:00am.  You are strongly encouraged to attend all 3 clinics if possible to learn the routine, with the official tryout on Saturday. MSD19 “Beauty and the Beast” Summer Musical Camp is FREE!  Held at Mascoutah High School.  Weekdays: Monday June 2nd - Friday June 20th from 8:00am to 1:00pm  Lunch is not provided, but students will be given a break and are allowed to bring food.  Performance will be June 20th at 6:00pm in Mascoutah High School Auditorium.  For students entering 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade who attend Mascoutah School District.  Please see Mrs. DeBusk if you are interested and pick up a flyer from Room #520.


Golf Clinics will be offered at The Orchards Golf Course beginning in April thru October. Please pick up a flyer outside the office, if interested.  Regular Camps run for four weeks and cost $115.

Attention all current 8th grade students: 

Tryouts for the 2025-2026 MHS Cheerleading team will be April 28-May 1. Any students interested should pick up a tryout packet in the main office. There will be optional Open Gyms on Wednesday, April 2, 9, and 16 from 3-5pm in the main gym, and a mandatory parent/athlete meeting on Tuesday, April 22 at 6pm in the media center. The Metro East Youth Art Show will accept form submissions from March 31st through April 18th. Each student can submit 2 pieces. Please use separate forms for grades 6th -12th as the older grades are on display at the Leu Civic Center.   Art drop off is April 23rd & 24th from 11am - 8pm at the Leu Civic Center for grade 6-12 submissions. All the framing/presentation requirements are listed in the show guidelines. If you have a student who needs assistance with matting or framing, contact us. We have some resources to help them.  Pick up is immediately after the show on April 26th, though if you need an alternate time, let us know.   The show is April 26th from 10am-2pm, with awards presented at 2pm. During the show, various groups will have art activities for all ages, and for the first time we'll be holding an art scavenger hunt (with prizes!) to encourage kids of all ages to take the time to really look at the art displayed.  Our goal is to help as many kids as possible participate in the show! Congratulations to the March Teacher of the Month, 6th grade Math teacher Ms. Jasionowski. Students report that Ms. Jasionowski is an awesome teacher who is encouraging, kind, and who takes the time to ensure that all students learn. 


Students with perfect attendance each month will get a coupon from their teacher for a free soda or snack in the cafeteria during their lunch hour. 


The 4th quarter reward party, ice cream in the park, will take place at the end of May. The criteria to earn the 4th quarter reward party is 3 or fewer discipline incidents and no ISS or OSS.
