MES students and staff kicked off Week of the Military Child with a concert performed by the United States Air Force rock band Roots in Blue! They performed kid-friendly and high-energy pop hits that had our students singing and dancing along to start our week off right! We are so grateful for our military impacted families and students that we get to serve each and every day!

MES 4th grade had a very special DEAR day. Guest readers, including Mr Battas and Scooter, Officer Tim and Miss Voyles' Grandma, came in to read books with fantastic messages. Grandma Lorene is a beautiful 99 years young with a 100th birthday quickly approaching! Students loved her life advice and asked great questions about her experiences. The sun even started shining just in time to go outside and read with their first grade buddies. #MESPROUD

Many families came out and enjoyed the MES PTO Sensory Night! From the bounce house and fire truck, to therapy dogs, bunnies, chicks, and even a baby goat-there was something for everyone. It was such a fun, joy-filled evening, and we loved seeing so many smiling faces.
