Congratulations to the MMS February Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Terch! Students say Mrs. Terch is a great teacher who is nice, kind, energetic, understanding and helpful. Congratulations Mrs. Terch!

  • 8th graders:  If you or your parents want to see what classes you have registered for next year, check  your skyward account.  They are listed under course requests and will be visible until March 30.

  • Each month, one homeroom winner per grade level with the best attendance rate will receive a donut party. The next donut party will take place the week of April 3rd. 

  • Baskets for the March Perfect Attendance drawing are in the display case by the front office. The next perfect attendance drawing will take place on April 3rd. 

  • No Place for Hate- Any current members/ambassadors and anyone who would like to join is welcome at our next meeting on Tuesday, March 7th afterschool from 2:45-3:15 PM in the library!

  • Wellness Wednesday Warmup will be held in room 635 located in the multi-purpose room.  Staff and students (with a signed permission slip) are welcome to meet from 7:25-7:40 to practice stretching, yoga, or meditation.  Permission slips are available outside the office.  This is a quiet, reflective time to help prepare for the day.  Students, please have your signed permission slip as a pass to enter door 12.  *If you come later than 7:25, please enter respectfully.

  • Room 517 will be used for Advanced HS Choir auditions during 4th period only on March 9th.  8th grade students: If you are not currently enrolled in the 8th Grade MMS Chorus and would like to audition to be in one of the advanced HS choirs on March 9th, please email Mrs. Terch to make an appointment.  If you have signed up for HS Concert Choir and do not want to audition for an advanced choir,  you are not required to audition.

  • The Spanish Club will meet Thursday from 2:45-3:30.

  • The next MMS Book Club meeting will be Tuesday, March 14 after school until 3:20 P.M. in the library.  

  • The 3rd quarter reward party will take place in mid March. Start preparing now. The criteria to earn the reward is 2 or fewer late or missing assignments combined in all classes & 1 or less discipline referral.
