If you are interested in trying out for Soccer, sign up in the office during your lunch hour. Please make sure you return the emergency information/parent consent form, athletic waiver of liability/indemnification form, and have a current physical on file with the nurse.

The winners of the February homeroom attendance donut parties are the homerooms of: Mr. Hilpert, Mrs. Cummins, Mrs. Luetkemyer, and Mrs. Bagwell. Winning homerooms had the best attendance rates for the month of February and will receive a donut party this morning. Each month, one winner per grade level with the best attendance rate will receive a donut party. The next donut party will take place the week of April 3rd.
Congratulations to our February Perfect Attendance Winners: Haley Zahm, Christopher White, and Kaylee Allen. Baskets for the March drawing are in the display case by the front office. The next perfect attendance drawing will take place on April 3rd.
Anti-Bullying Club- We will meet this Thursday during recess to talk about Kindness week in Mrs. Schnable's room! Come with ideas to share!
First Priority will meet this Thursday in Room 713!
Chess club will not be meeting this week.
Mascoutah Middle School Chorus and Treble Choir will perform on Thursday, March 2nd at 7pm in the MHS auditorium. "A Blast From the Past" will include popular songs from 1958-1978! Doors open at 6:30pm.
No Place for Hate- Any current members/ambassadors and anyone who would like to join is welcome at our next meeting on Tuesday, March 7th afterschool from 2:45-3:15 PM in the library!
Room 517 will be used for Advanced HS Choir auditions during 4th period only on March 9th. 8th grade students: If you are not currently enrolled in the 8th Grade MMS Chorus and would like to audition to be in one of the advanced HS choirs on March 9th, please email Mrs. Terch to make an appointment. If you have signed up for HS Concert Choir and do not want to audition for an advanced choir, you are not required to audition.
Wellness Wednesday Warmup will be held in room 635 located in the multi-purpose room. Staff and students (with a signed permission slip) are welcome to meet from 7:25-7:40 to practice stretching, yoga, or meditation. Permission slips are available outside the office. This is a quiet, reflective time to help prepare for the day. Students, please have your signed permission slip as a pass to enter door 12. *If you come later than 7:25, please enter respectfully.
The 3rd quarter reward party will take place in mid March. Start preparing now. The criteria to earn the reward is 2 or fewer late or missing assignments combined in all classes & 1 or less discipline referral.
REMINDER: We wear purple EVERY Friday to show our school spirit here at MMS!
