- Congratulations to the boys 3rd place and girls 4th place finish at the state track meet at Carterville last Saturday. Boys state champions were Nathan Hippard in the 100 and 200 meter dash. Brennon Singletary, Grant Higgins, Micheal Scott, and Trevor Geis in 4x4 relay. And Ellie Lowe in the long jump. Other state medalists were Ellie Lowe 2nd in the 200 meter dash. Joseph France, Devyn Lesane, Allen Middleton, and Nathan Hippard 2nd in the 4x2 relay. Salvatore Lione 2nd in the 1600 meter. Chloe Latour 3rd in the 1600 meter. Ellie Lowe 3rd in the 100 meter dash. Grant Higgins 4th in the 400 meter dash. Nathan Encinas 5th in the 1600 meter. Annabelle Kowalski 5th in the 400 meter dash. Tatum Maschhoff, Chloe Latour, Anniston Ruff, and Annabelle Kowalski 6th in the 4x4 relay. Nicholas Beyer, Jonas Prewitt, Nicholas Watkins, and Devon Parks 7th in the 4x2 relay. And Trevor Geis 8th in the 400 meter dash.
If you do not have a positive balance in your lunch account, you can not buy extras.
Track students, the end of year party will be tomorrow at 3:30pm - 4:30pm in the cafeteria. The entire team is invited.
Book club members: Our final book club meeting is Thursday, May 16. It will take place at the same time and will be an ice cream party, so please plan to bring your favorite ice cream topping. Please check Google classroom for a sign-up for what you plan to bring.
Field Day and the 8th grade field trip take place the week of May 20th. In order to participate in the fun activities taking place the last week of school, all fees must be paid, including LUNCH fees, students must be passing to the next grade and have zero bus suspensions, out of school suspension, or in-school suspensions during 4th quarter.
Sign up sheets for girls basketball summer camp, boys basketball summer camp and boys and girls volleyball summer camp are now available in the main office.
